Painting Crew Atlanta paints homes in Marietta, scheduled from our Glenwood Avenue office. The Northwest Marietta Historic District takes in Victorian areas on Kennesaw Avenue and Polk and Church Streets, so many Marietta jobs involve detailed wood trim, porches and windows, while the subdivisions around the city mostly need repaints, siding repairs and interiors.

Victorian streets close to the Square
Marietta's Northwest Marietta Historic District, on the National Register, takes in Victorian areas on Kennesaw Avenue and Polk and Church Streets, including Plantation Plain houses with Classic and Victorian details.
Those houses have trim that is more ornament than molding: brackets, spindles, turned porch posts and layered cornices. Each needs scraping, priming and brushing by hand, and porches and original windows usually need repair work before paint. Pre-1978 paint is handled lead-safe.
Away from the historic streets, Marietta's subdivision homes are a quicker job, often with hardboard siding to probe and a kitchen or interior update on the list.
